Grabbing the opportunity

Kid is gone on her first vacation without mum and dad, off to her aunt, uncle and two cousins, so mum's grabbing the chance to draw a bit. Did this one today, while trying to get to grips with the house being one toddler short. Took quite a different approach to this than usual, and it kinda shows.....

Saturday Showdown

So. Way too much things going lately that's NOT art. But Tristan Elwell posted a link today. To THIS - How to steal like an artist and 9 other things nobody told me. And I read the sentence that said "Write what you want to read". So I drew what I wanted to have on my walls for the last hours. And the thing that really has my passion when it comes to drawing, is these symmetric mask/head/headgear thingies that I've been doing for years and can't put down. So I did those. And here's a few of the sketches I did today.

Therapy

So, it's been a really stressful couple of weeks. When it comes to everything. Including work, family, health and economy. Heh. So, more than grinding on specific things to get better, I needed some drawing therapy. And this is one of the doodles that came out the last four hours. Between a couple of glasses of red wine. That I really needed. For whatever it's worth, I thought I might as well post this one.

Random updates

So, about time to put something here again.

Here's as far as I came with the DW... I still want to make it a proper image, but at the moment it's far from completion, of course.

A thingy I started on based on myself, also pretty much a rough, I haven't quite decided where to go with it if anywhere.

And a couple of those heads I do all the time, quick ones.

And a really, really fast sketch of Cheetara from Thundercats, the redesign of them is the current CharacterFORGE in CGHUB.

A lil break

Drew this while kid was having her nap today, not too bad for just a quick one, methinks. For me, at least. :)

I have more that's done over December and the holidays, but I can't show those off yet :)

DW V - still at it - concepts

So after several really bad attempts of getting things to work, I'm  back to, if not square one, at least square two. Running out of time and having less time to work with this than originally thought - I have to go with this now I think. And make a proper image out of these. I was making a corrupted to go with the techno mage after ditching the shadow, did several changes on the mage, and then now I'm back at basically what I posted last time on the mage, and a war general. The only character that I was sure I wasn't gonna make, heh.

Oh well, crossing my fingers I'll finish this even if I'm gone half of next week.

Spamming my technomage DW V

Heh, another update. These are coming faster than they should, but I'm trying to push as much drawing as possible now for this as I don't know how much time I'll have after this week to get it done. After getting some input on the design on the image posted in the last post, I decided to kind of merge them.

I'm kind of going blind on it now though, so I'll do another character while I let this one rest. I need input to help me make sure if I'm going in the right direction or not, this is a high hanging contest with tons of participants that'll kick my ass thoroughly. But you know, I still wanna do the best that I can.
